Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, the largest and best insurance company of Pakistan, was founded in 1960 by Mr. A.W.Adamjee and since then has grown phenomenally from a paid-up capital of Rs. 2.5 million to Rs.1.022 billion. Adamjee received its certificate of commencement on 30th Nov 1960. MCB bank another subsidiary of Nishat group, acquired the management rights of the company in 2004.
